The State Government is undertaking a five‑year statutory review of the WA Strata Titles Act 1985. The review will be completed across two public consultation periods, the first in October 2024 and the second expected in 2026.

The review aims to expand on the legislative updates made in 2020 to make strata clearer and fairer for WA strata owners, residents, and strata professionals.

The review will be focusing on three key themes:

  1. Improving cost controls in strata titles schemes
