SCA (WA) is an Incorporated Association
SCA (WA)'s status as an incorporated association establishes us as an independent legal entity separate from our members. Our not-for-profit status makes us eligible for incorporation and means all profits made are invested back into the association to further our activities and purpose.

All incorporated associations are required to develop a set of rules that govern its operations. This set of rules is commonly referred to as a constitution. The constitution outlines matters such as;
-
The purpose of the association
-
The register of members
-
Any fees payable by members
-
Powers of the board
-
Rules and procedures around general meetings
