Kerrin Simmonds MBA
Regional Manager
Kerrin Simmonds is a highly skilled professional with over 15 years of experience in membership associations, specialising in strategy development, stakeholder engagement, and project management. As Regional Manager of the Strata Community Association (WA) since mid-2023, Kerrin has been instrumental in driving the growth and success of the organisation by fostering member engagement, strengthening community connections, and delivering impactful initiatives.

Kerrin is passionate about supporting the strata sector in Western Australia, working collaboratively with members, the board, and the SCA (WA) team to create opportunities for professional development, advocacy, and community building. Her strategic approach and commitment to excellence have been key to advancing the association’s mission and delivering value to its members.

Kerrin holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialisation in Project Management, completed in early 2024, and a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration. With a strong foundation in leadership and a dedication to innovation, Kerrin is committed to furthering the success of the strata community in WA.

Shaan Griffen
Membership Services Co-ordinator
Shaan joined SCA (WA) in September 2020 and is committed to supporting our members, building strong relationships and upholding a high standard of professionalism. With a diligent, client-oriented approach, pro-active attitude and a strong passion for organisation, she excels in maintaining attention to detail in all aspects of her work.
Before joining SCA (WA), Shaan spent 10 years in membership, administration and reception roles at The University Club of Western Australia. With extensive experience as Membership Coordinator, Customer Service Officer and Corporate Receptionist, Shaan hails from a hospitality background with experience in Front Office Reception experience for several hotels and Customer Service positions for Medicare Australia and the City of Bunbury. Shaan holds a Bachelor of Arts from Curtin University.
Shaan is a devoted mum to her 10-year-old son and a papillon cross who keep her active and on her toes!

Jen Farquhar
Events Co-ordinator
Jen joined the SCA (WA) team in September of 2025 as Events Coordinator. Her role includes organising a variety of events such as webinars, seminars, the Annual Conference, Strata Community Excellence Awards, and social events. She also addresses all event-related inquiries and logistics, creating engaging and valuable experiences for members.
Before joining SCA (WA) Jen was a Competition Coordinator for the Perth Royal Food Awards at The Royal Agricultural Society WA. She also gained significant experience in the hospitality & customer service sector managing iconic venues such as The Queens Tavern, The Windsor Hotel & The Belgian Beer Café. Jen holds a BA (Hons) in Media Communications from The University of Gloucestershire in the UK.
Outside of work Jen is mum to an energetic 2.5-year-old Bruce and enjoys plenty of outdoor time exploring parks & family fun activities.

Téa Johnston
Education and Events Officer
Téa plays a key role in supporting SCA (WA)’s educational initiatives in her role. Collaborating closely with the event coordinator, she helps organise educational events and ensuring engaging speaker line-ups.

Téa brings experience preparing educational events and administrations duties from various industries and is excited to be part of our team.
Téa is fresh to the city life after moving from her small beach hometown, she enjoys all things beachy, farmers markets and reading a good book.

Amy Duplex
Communications Officer
Amy joined the SCA (WA) team in January of 2025 as a Communications Officer. Her role includes the management of SCA (WA)'s social medias, website, email communications and other marketing activities. Amy is dedicated to clear communication to ensure that members, owners and the broader public are aware of the undertakings of SCA (WA) and news relating to the strata sector.
After completing her Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Western Australia, Amy spent 5 years managing events and marketing for several ballet schools across the city. Highlights included sold out shows at some of Perth's most prestigious theatres and partnerships with the City of Perth. Having grown up dancing Amy has also been teaching ballet for over 10 years and looks forward to continuing this passion alongside her work with SCA (WA).
Outside of work, Amy enjoys spending quality time with her partner and spoodle pup and loves all things camping and outdoors.

Shaun Brockman
National Policy and Advocacy Manager
Shaun Brockman is a personable and analytical professional with eight years of experience in policy, advocacy, and communications. With a strong track record of success in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments, Shaun has honed his skills at a reputable full-service public affairs agency, delivering impactful results for clients.
He brings a solid understanding of the political landscape and government policy processes, underpinned by his achievements in advocating for policy changes and securing funding for a high-profile national charity and a state peak body.

As the National Policy and Advocacy Manager, Shaun is committed to advancing the interests of the strata sector by leveraging his expertise in strategic communication and stakeholder engagement to drive meaningful change.

Anne Cai CPA
Finance Manager
Anne Cai is a highly capable and experienced financial manager with a proven track record of success across diverse roles in both the non-profit and for-profit sectors. Anne holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Macquarie University and is a qualified Certified Practising Accountant (CPA).
