SCA (WA) Approved as a CPD Provider for Real Estate Licence Holders

We are thrilled to announce that SCA (WA) is now an approved CPD Provider through the Department of Local Government, Industry Regulation and Safety (LGIRS).

Effective from 21 April, eligible SCA (WA) courses and events can contribute towards the CPD points required annually under the Real Estate and Business Agents Act (REBA) to maintain your Real Estate licence. That means the professional development you're already doing, attending SCA (WA) events, workshops, and training sessions, can now do double duty.

What this means for you

Real Estate licence holders in the strata sector are required to complete five CPD points per year through LGIRS. With SCA (WA) now approved as a provider, you have the opportunity to meet that requirement through strata-specific content that is actually relevant to your work.

How it works

Not every SCA (WA) course or event will automatically attract LGIRS CPD points. We will assess each offering and designate eligible sessions, along with the number of points available. This information will be clearly communicated when you register for an event or course.

To claim your REBA points, complete a registration form with us, so that we have your details on record, and then for each eligible event, you will be requested to advise if you require a certificate for LGIRS for that session and we will take care of the rest.

For online and recorded sessions, please be aware that all CPD points will be subject to our CPD Fraud Prevention Policy, which is in place to protect the integrity of the programme for all members.

Who does this apply to?

This applies to real estate agents, property managers, and sales representatives who hold a licence under REBA and are required to meet annual CPD obligations through LGIRS.
