2025 Life Member - Marietta Metzger HFSCM

SCA (WA) is proud to announce that 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 has been awarded to Marietta Metzger HFSCM at the CHU SCA (WA) 2025 Strata Community Excellence Awards held in November.

Life Membership is the highest honour our Association can bestow. It recognises individuals whose leadership, service and unwavering commitment have shaped SCA (WA) and the strata sector across Western Australia.

This year, we are delighted to recognise Marietta for an extraordinary contribution spanning two decades.

Since joining STIWA in 2005, Marietta has been a driving force in the evolution and professionalisation of our Association. Her leadership has included:

⭐️ Service on the STIWA and SCA (WA) Boards from 2005 to 2018, including as Secretary and Vice President

⭐️ Chairing the Best Practice Committee and contributing across multiple committees during periods of significant growth

⭐️ Leading the development of professional standards as Convenor of the Professional Standards Committee

⭐️Representing WA nationally through the Professional Standards and Membership Board Advisory Group, the National Education Committee, and the SCA National Board

⭐️Receiving the Strata Community Association Australasia President’s Award in 2017

Marietta has also made an enormous contribution to education and capability-building across our sector. She has volunteered as an A100 Trainer, delivered training for owners and managers, supported members through the Advisory Service, mentored new entrants, and judged SCA Awards programs across Australia.

Her professionalism is reflected in her own achievements: progressing through all SCA accreditation tiers to Fellow Strata Community Manager in 2021, completing the Certificate IV in Strata Community Management and Training and Assessment, and achieving SMPS Certification in 2024. She has also been recognised as a state and national award winner and finalist.

Marietta’s service has been consistent, generous and deeply impactful. Her influence is woven into the growth, strength and credibility of SCA (WA) and the strata sector more broadly.
